Modern cinema trailers owe their current form to Andrew J Kuehn.
The trailer for his 1964 film Night of the Iguana added such innovations as a specially written voice-over (read by none other than a young James Earl Jones), use of actual film dialogue, fast-paced editing and dramatic music.
