Introduction

Welcome to the Webcomic at the End of the World…

Disaster movies, we love them, right? Whether they are purely ‘people in peril’, or documenting the myriad ways the world could end, the genre has been perennially popular since the early days of cinema. And humanity’s fascination with the imagined Final Apolcalypse dates back to ancient religious myth. Or maybe it’s because we all love big explosions…

Anyway, I’ve been a big fan of disaster/end-of-the-world etc. (call them what you will) movies since I was old enough to reach the TV ‘On’ button. And as there’s always at least two or three blockbusters a year that fit the genre, I’m don’t think I’m alone.

So, welcome to Lights Out! My own loving spoof/parody of every disaster movie that could fit (plus many random asides). The premise is simple: Imagine every way that the world could end then imagine them all happening at once. In the next few weeks, you’ll be treated to asteroid strikes, pod people, zombie attacks, nuclear panic, The Omen, and something very unpleasent lurking under the ocean, to name just a few. Oh, and lots of large explosions.

Lights Out! updates every Monday and Friday, so there’s fresh apocalyptic mayhem twice a week. However, rather than me wasting your time explained, click here and dive straight in.

The World is just about to Armageddon-A-Go-Go…
